On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Maria Zelda Magistrado Rojas was formally accepted into the Order of the Golden Spur (Ritterorden zum Goldenen Sporn) during a solemn ceremony held at the historic St. Michael’s Church in the heart of Vienna. The event, steeped in centuries-old tradition and guided by the motto “Avitus et famam tuetur” brought together distinguished members of the Order, esteemed guests, and honorees from around the world. The investiture began with a ceremonial procession, followed by a Holy Mass celebrated by Military Chaplain MMMag. Christoph Gmachl-Aher.

The Grand Prior of Austria welcomed the assembly, and the Grand Master, His Imperial and Royal Highness Sandor von Habsburg-Lothringen, addressed the gathering with words of tradition and unity. Maria Zelda Magistrado Rojas was among those officially knighted into the Order, marking a significant recognition of her contributions and character. Following the investiture, guests gathered for a simple agape reception. The Ritterorden zum Goldenen Sporn, one of Europe’s oldest chivalric orders, continues to honor individuals who exemplify dedication to cultural, humanitarian, and spiritual values.
